Q: Are your images digitally retouched?

A: Our photos are as photographed in RAW form, converted with basic adjustments into .JPG files. They are simple, un-retouched pictures for you to do your own magic! :)

Q: Will I own the copyright of the image if I buy the License?

A: No. A License is only an authorization for the use of the image in your projects. It is Non-transferable (only the buyer is authorized to use the license. You can't have someone else use your license to make their projects). Period Images retains all Copyright to all images.

Q: How many times can I use an image I bought?

A: Depending on the type of license you bought, you can use it only once, or as many times as you want, as long as it is you, the licensee, who is using it. "Web License" and "Web + Print" Licenses allows you to use the image for one book, and promotional items related to the same book only.

Q: Can I use the image I bought for web and social media promos?

A: Yes, but you may not publish the image in its original appearance and size. You must reduce the size to 400 x 600 pixels to prevent piracy.

Q: Can I use your images for my book trailer?

A: Yes. For Book Trailers, any type of licensing permits you to use our images. Please note, the "Web License" and "Web + Print" Licenses can be used for promotional materials of one book only, or the same book you used the image as a cover for.

Q: What happens if I failed to receive the image in my email?

A: Simply contact us via our "Contact" on the website, and we'll take care of it. The chances of digital transmission failure is extremely low, but if it does happen, you may be assured that you can contact us anytime.

Q: Why is there a faint print/blemish on the images?

A: That is called a 'Watermark.' This is embedded in the gallery images to prevent piracy. When you buy the license, you will receive a Watermark-free image in your inbox.

Q: Are your images digitally retouched?

A: On rare occasions, we do edit wrinkles in the backdrop, stray hairs, clothing, and lightly airbrush some blemishes on models' complexions. Other than that, our photos are as photographed in RAW form, converted into .JPG files.

Q: How do I register?

A: Simply go to: My Account and click register on the bottom.

Q: I want my book covers to have images that are for my exclusive use only and that I can use with different publishers and promotional materials. Do you have any images like that?

A: Yes. You can inquire about buying an Exclusive License ($180) for one of the stock photos in our galleries, or, order an Exclusive Photo Shoot. To order, message us via our contact page and tell us how you want your shoot to be done and what genre you are looking for. Exclusive Photo Shoots start at $250. For more info, read our Exclusive Shoot FAQs.

Q: Do you have Model and Property Releases?

A: Yes! Our models have signed contracts and we own the venues/properties where we take our shoots. Likewise, RVHC, our parent company, owns all the Design Copyright and Trademark to all the attires we use on set, so you're guaranteed not to end up with a Cover Image of models wearing cheap Halloween costumes.
